Berry GardenWho knew that picking bedding would be so difficult! So I need help! We actually have registered for Carter's Love Bug (the 2nd pic) which is a very pretty quilt in person. And yet, I'm still not 100% sold on it. We will be painting the room a light sage green and the color we've picked will go with any of these bedding sets. I love butterflies and Shannon loves lady bugs, which Love Bug has both of. I like the Lady Bugs (the first pic), but it doesn't have butterflies. The border that looks like it's tan in this picture is actually a light sage green. It has dragonflies... I don't like dragonflies at all. I'm trying to get over it, but I can't. The other two, I've not seen in person. Shannon thinks they may be a bit too "raspberry."

Hmmm... hard choice. I do like the Love Bugs the best, Lady Bugs would be next choice... Good luck!
Do you have furniture picked out yet? If so, what color will it be?
Well Mary, that's the other thing. We ordered a crib from Walmart -- Dorel Cherry. It's supposedly a dark wood color. We were going to mix dark wood and white furniture. BUT... I also originally wanted black furniture. So it might be possible to refinish the crib in black (it would still be cheaper than buying black furniture). The Lady Bug one would look better with black furniture and Love Bugs is already brown and soft white so it would go with the brown and white furniture.
BTW, I did not like the Valspar paint at all. It streaks. And we got the most expensive one. That's why we went to Home Depot first was cause I like Behr cause it covers really well. See what you can do about having Lowes improve that product, OK?
Ok, I'll have Jon get right on that with the paint! We used Valspar throughout our whole house -of course, we wouldn't dare buy any other brand... especially from HomeDepot... oh well!
I like Cherry colored wood and white, but I like black as well. The boys' furniture was a pine color, wouldn't have been my first choice, or so I thought, but it was a gift and I loved it of course! I would think having the cherry and white would give you more options in the future.. but I'm no designer... I like to copy what I see and like!

Like the Lady Bug, don't like Berry Garden, Bubble Gum is kind of fun and crazy I like that too, and I bet Love Bug is great in person, I like brown and pink, but the picture just isn't doing it justice. :)
