"Out for delivery" means it only took 2 and 1/2 days on a truck for our crib to travel 45 miles. But it finally got here! And it's perfect! Shannon put it together, with very little help from me, in about 45 minutes. It was very simple to put together and it is as solid as a rock! I am very happy with our purchase, especially knowing we paid half of what most solid convertable cribs cost. It's a dark cherry color, almost an exact match for our bedroom furniture.
After having seen it in person, I am rethinking our bedding again! :) Do you think BabiesRUs will let us take home their display quilts and see which one looks best on the crib???? Yeah, me neither. We are still in search of a dresser to match it, which I don't think should be hard. We were going to mix in white furniture, but I don't think that will work now that I've seen it.
Our 26 weeks appointment Thursday went well. My BP has still been great 106/68 and I still have a negative 7 pound weight gain. Shannon's very jealous about the BP! We started the Fetal Fibronectin testing. This test is to predict preterm labor and will we do it every two weeks till 34 weeks because of my family's significant history of preterm labor. The baby's heartrate was 154. She's very consistant. We have our final "official" ultrasound next Friday.
Hope you like the crib, we love it! (No, it will not stay in front of the closet.) She's going to be soooo tiny in it, though!
