Happy Due Date! Wow, who knew! Exactly 40 weeks today! We are so excited to have made it this far. So I guess we won't have to do those pesky fetal fibronectin tests next go around.
This morning, Shannon's alarm went off about 5:15 (and no, he doesn't get up that early, that's just went it starts going off) and I woke up to it. Then it hit me! I HAD NOT GOTTEN UP A SINGLE TIME ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!!!!!! I don't even think I turned, trust me, I remember everytime I turn. It was a Due Date Miracle! So I slept from 11:30 pm to 5:15... the longest in months.
So no progress with delivering, but we did hear some excellent news about the house. We officially have the clear to close. All that's left is to draw up documents, send them to the seller, and then set a closing appointment. That should probably happen by about Tuesday. Funny! Having a baby, closing, moving, and 3 sets of family visiting throughout the week... other than that, next week is wide open for us!
All such amazing things happening at one time! I'm going to need a nap!
Oh! Forgot to report that since we've gone a little longer than I expected, I had to get my toenails repainted. It's always so difficult to pick a color. To me, the name is way more important than even the color. How do I follow "Mother Road Rose" and "Mom's Chiffon"?? What could possibly be more appropriate? Then I found it, "Don't Whine, Yukon Do It." What better encouragement to remember as I'm staring at my toes while pushing!

Praying for you from afar. It has been fun keeping up with all going on with you guys. I always love following couples who know what it is to long for a baby. Mike and I are so very excited for you guys. God is so good and faithful. Praying for you guys as you anxiously wait your special blessing. I keep checking the blog thinking it is going to say- She's Here! :) I know your family must be estatic.
I would imagine your toes would be the last thing on your mind while pushing!
We are waiting, ever so patiently!!
