Ryan Seacrest has nothing on our ultrasound tech!!! I was certain he was going to say, "we'll find out after this commercial break." But he finally managed to get it out... "A GIRL!" Obviously, we were going to be thrilled either way, but it was sort of neat to see that my "mother's intuition" was right. I started having dreams right after our fertility treatment, before we ever found out we were pregnant, that I was having twin girls. So, there's only one, but the girl part was right!
Shannon is done for, I'm afraid. This tiny little girl will have him wrapped around her little finger. There is no doubt! On the way home from the doctor yesterday, I was praying for our little girl and praying that God would allow me to know how to relate to a d-a-u-g-h-t-e-r. WOW! I've thought about having a baby girl, but it never hit me that meant having a daughter. I know... duh, right! How exciting!
Now I have a very huge itch to go buy something pink!

So cool! And you already have a name?! Wow! Can't wait to hear it! Thanksgiving is sooo far away! How did things work out with the ultrasound? Was Shannon able to go as well?
